As a person with ADHD I get so tired of seeing those relatable ADHD comics. Maybe we need comics on symptom management instead

There's a lot I struggle with as an adult with ADHD and I've had to do a ton of work to develop coping strategies. It frustrates me to see anti-recovery rhetoric like "oh a PLANNER I never thought of a PLANNER" because- and you're never going to believe this-
Planners can be really useful for people with ADHD once you teach yourself to use them. I only passed grad school because of my planner. I have a whiteboard in every room in my house. I make lists constantly.
I have to count off my essentials (phone badge work phone wallet keys) every time I leave the house. I have to do a verbal "my keys are in my hand" check every time I get out of the car because I've locked myself out so many times.
I'm not "cured" and never will be, but my ADHD is managed to the point that I can (mostly, sort of) live. I want to see fewer "Wow aren't these symptoms terrible?" posts and more celebration of the coping skills people have developed.
