Google Earth Pro is the one of the most underrated tools I know of. Here's some of the things I use it for:
1. Planning out landscape photos! It can be helpful to plan the shot before hand, especially figuring out angles

2. Astrophotography! There's an option to see the stars on ground view—incredibly helpful for planning out milky way photos. Especially when you're planning on capturing it lining up with a Mountain peak or other structure at a specific time! You can toggle days/time as well
3. Hiking! The backcountry is always unpredictable & you should always be prepared, but you can prepare as much as possible by familiarizing yourself with the terrain beforehand!
