Google Earth Pro is the one of the most underrated tools I know of. Here's some of the things I use it for:

1. Planning out landscape photos! It can be helpful to plan the shot before hand, especially figuring out angles👏
2. Astrophotography! There's an option to see the stars on ground view—incredibly helpful for planning out milky way photos. Especially when you're planning on capturing it lining up with a Mountain peak or other structure at a specific time! You can toggle days/time as well
3. Hiking! The backcountry is always unpredictable & you should always be prepared, but you can prepare as much as possible by familiarizing yourself with the terrain beforehand!

I also use it to find access to backcountry mountains that are rarely hiked👏
continued from 3: furthermore, you can use rulers to map distance while planning hikes. This also shows elevation gain, which can be vital
4: Pinning & saving locations.
This allows you to come back to spots time and time again, rethink them, and plan them further
