has not brought any material changes, it has created a space where survivors can speak out about the abuse they have experienced rather than suffering in shame and silence. It has allowed for awareness, education and occasionally, accountability. @thegeminiproj

When survivors speak out, they exercise their rights under Article 8 and Article 10 of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), now enshrined in UK law. Despite this many survivor’s face threats of civil litigation from their abuser @thegeminiproj
We are seeing more & more cases of perpetrators sending their victims and public supporters of their victims cease and desists. Serving them with civil litigation for misuse of private info, harassment, libel, or whatever else they can to protect their reputations @thegeminiproj
