DMK has put out this poster. It says the students who passed the NLC written exams for GET position from TN is 1% viz a viz 99% from other states

They’ve demanded an enquiry commission for this. If they have the data of how it is just 1% from TN, why do you need the commission?
Firstly this recruitment is not only NLC plants in Neyveli & Tuticorin; But also for their plants situated in Barsingar, Bithnok, Talabira, South Pachwara and Ghatampur.

The 1980MW plant in Ghatampur, UP will be commissioned later this year and will be put to operation.
NLC had recently commenced its coal mining operations in NLC Talabira Project in Odisha. The Total capacity of mining is 23 Million Tones per Annum.

The total capacity of Mines in Neyveli is 28 Million Tones Per Annum.
With Ghatampur planning to commence operations and Talabaria recently commencing operations, it is not right to assume the entire requirement is only for Neyveli without a clarification sought on this regards thru the right channel.
Secondly, The total number of vacancies notified for the post of “Graduate Executive Trainee” is 259. As per point 8.1 in the notification, 6 times the number of vacancies will be called for personal interview.

Which means 1554 candidates will be called for personal interviews.
The personal interview notification issued by NLC had called 1582 candidates, Slightly higher than the minimum requirement of 1554 Candidates. And of which 8 candidates are from TN.

So DMK claims 800 candidates wrote the exams from TN??
Recently NLC had announced selection of Junior and resident doctors for their hospital in Neyveli. 24 Doctors were selected and all the 24 were from Tamil Nadu. If NLC had any bias, why would they do this? https://www.nlcindia.com/new_website/careers/Result%20of%20Selection%20Final.pdf
Point no. 16 in the notification; they are open to address disputes through legal proceedings, why shouldn’t you consider filing a case with the list of 800 candidates and the marks they scored, instead of believing in some misguided fake propaganda in Twitter.
Any Central Government organisation does not look at the state a person belongs to before offering him a job.

It is about the score in the written exam, his ability to clear the interview and finally the reservation of seats.
DMK could have abolished this methodology by introducing a law refraining inter state participation. They were UPA’s powerful alliance partner for 10 good years.
