starting today there is a new cosplay shop especially for #secondhandcosplay! This is a great opportunity to make cosplay more sustainable
the shop is @LumikhaCosplay and they will launch at 3pm est! I was able to take a look at the site as a beta tester.
starting today there is a new cosplay shop especially for #secondhandcosplay! This is a great opportunity to make cosplay more sustainable
the shop is @LumikhaCosplay and they will launch at 3pm est! I was able to take a look at the site as a beta tester.
the shop will make it easier for all of us to find second hand cosplays and also selling stuff we don't need anymore. This way we can give things that are already produced a new chance instead of having company's create new things for us.
so here are some first impressions of the shop! You can buy there everything you need for cosplay: full costumes, props and wigs.
there are a lot of options to look for costumes. You can search by size, colours etc but also if you want something self-made or bought.
You can use a lot of options to pay, which makes everything really easy.
I think this project is a really important step to make cosplay available for everyone as well as for more sustainability. It also helps to stop unfair work conditions, which unfortunately still happen in the textile industry, when we stop buying new cosplays.
