Answer: Yes, women made up 28% of new diagnoses in 2019 and are a 1/3 of all those living with HIV in the UK.

NO!! You can’t get HIV from kissing. No one has ever contracted HIV from kissing.

Answer: HIV is the virus. AIDS is a collection of illnesses resulting from a weakened immune system caused by untreated HIV. They are not the same.

In the UK today it’s people living with HIV, not “AIDS patient”.
Google search: “can women get HIV” — 100% increase after #ItsASin.

Answer: yes, more than half of people living with HIV globally are women.

But, worryingly, 1/4 of women eligible for an HIV test in 2019 declined it (SHS).
