A child allowance would rescue millions of vulnerable kids from poverty, but @swinshi says it’s bad anyway because it reduces work incentives.

So I asked him if he could give me a quantitative estimate of the labor supply impact. He said no, citing me being mean to him online.
Perhaps someone who is more polite than me can try to ask him.

To me, condemning millions of children to poverty is bad. Before I conclude the impact on labor supply is more important I’d like a ballpark of what the impact is.
I have in fact often been mean online and it’s a totally fair critique of me.

But I don’t think the world at large should be forbidden access to this information just for my sins of rudeness. I’m not even the rudest of the Twitter Matts!
