Last year, one of the most important movements in Congress was emerging in some time: a real bipartisan alliance to curb the power & excess of Big Tech.
But now, after 1/6, Dems refuse to work with its GOP leaders, ensuring Big Tech will be left alone: https://www.politico.com/news/2021/02/05/tech-alliances-splinter-hawley-cruz-466067

Exactly the same thing happened in the wake of the GameStop/Reddit controversy: a real bipartisan collation was possible to impose curbs on Wall St abuses.
But again, Dems centered their own anger over the Capitol to say they refuse to work with them, dooming it from the start.

Huge numbers of people over the last year have suffered serious trauma — from COVID deaths, lockdowns, isolation, job loss.
For some reason, Congressmembers have decided to center and prioritize their own trauma from the Capitol riot, ensuring these power centers are left alone.

The worst part is you can’t question any of it, can’t challenge the warped priority scheme of subordinating reform to focus on the trauma of members of Congress, because if you do, it means you’re indifferent to their trauma. Millions have trauma, but don’t get floor ceremonies.
Also, I don’t mean this as a criticism, just an observation:
The Squad was originally branded as a threat to establishment Dem Party hegemony and seen that way by establishment Dems, but you can make the case that it’s become the most potent and effective Party recruitment tool.

Here’s an article from December on the gap between the branding of the Squad and their reality by ex-Obama campaign operative @ShantMM. I didn’t share it at the time because I thought it was overstated in some places, but it’s really worth re-visiting: https://americanaffairsjournal.org/2020/12/the-lefts-culture-war-rebranding/
