I feel really bad to bring this up again, but not having had a reply after a week from @WarlordGames I feel an obligation to do so. For those who don't know, "The Miniatures Page" is a large website funded via paid advertising from wargames companies.
The Miniatures Page, or TMP, has a history of controversial topics, including condoning holocaust denial, rampant sexism, and explicit racism. It is legitimised by being funded by advertising from a number of mainstream wargaming companies.
Warlord Games, a large employer and manufacturer based in Nottingham is one of those companies that pays for advertising. On a number of occasions, the last time last Friday, I have asked them whether the topics I've mentioned are ones they wish to be associated with.
An example of one such topic is below. There are MANY more that I cannot post due to their contents. Warlord Games have said they will review their advertising policy. I have not heard back from them.
The fact that TMP is legitimised by paid for advertising from mainstream wargames companies has the potential to portray the wargaming community in an awful and unfair light. I would not want a newcomer to the hobby of any background being exposed to this.
So, at this point I was wondering whether @BBCNottingham @spikeykay @carol_hindsnews would be interested in this, specifically in regards to how it relates to a large Nottingham based business buying advertising space on the aforementioned website.
There's also a multitude of threads on BLM, involving derogatory comments that the movement is racist, and so-on. While paying for advertising on such a website does not mean the company shares or condones such values, in my opinion it is at best a distasteful thing to do.
I've apparently touched a nerve. In the last 30 mins I've had 3 people dm me with abusive messages about this thread.

I'm always happy to engage in a courteous and respectful debate, calling me names doesn't help anyone. With that said, I'm off to do some hobbying.
I wanted to add to this thread that there are plenty of reputable outlets that are good for a company to spend their advertising budget on. I personally don't see the commercial necessity to advertise on TMP, especially when weighed against the problematic nature of the site.
