Lessons I learned in 2 Weeks of Job Search...🧵
#1: Experience Matters

Unless you have made something extraordinary as a personal project,

If you don't have work experience of at least a year,

It's gonna be difficult looking for jobs.

Many HRs just ignore the resume if that criteria does not match.
#2: Skillset should be Relevant

If your Skillset is not relevant according to the current market,

It gets difficult cause HRs in Startups and Companies which doesn't want you to train,

They look for people they don't have to spend their resources on...

Start staying updated!
#3: DSA is Important

If you are going to apply for a Product Based Company, You better start learning Data Structures and Algorithms...

They can train you the tech, but they can't teach you DSA and the art of problem-solving.

You have to learn it on your own.
#4: Facing the Rejections while Applying for Jobs

You are gonna get rejected

ALOT!

Cause of the number of applicants, HRs only look at your resume for a few seconds.

If they find something interesting in it, they read further, else, they skip you

The lesson is in the end🧵
#5: Projects Matter!

If your projects are different from the crowd, it helps a lot!

They should be relevant to the company you are applying to. Remember that.

My Projects weren't fancy so I keep getting those

but it's okay cause I'm gonna build something better.
#6: Knowing Your Value

It's tough when you keep getting rejected and people try to make you think you aren't valuable to them.

⭐ You need to know how valuable you are!

Just Keep getting rejected and failing until you make it.

The more you fail, the more you learn and grow.
