BREAKING: More than *HALF A MILLION* people in #Wales have now had a first vaccine against #COVID19.

The NHS also gave out the highest number of daily first jabs since the start of the rollout with 32,472 done yesterday!!!!

523,042 people in #Wales have now had a first dose of vaccine against coronavirus. A massive jump in doses given out too - as seen by this graph going near-vertical again.

The daily first jabs is more than double of the number last week.

More than 1 in 5 adults have now had a #COVID19 vaccine in Wales!!!!!

Here's the chart of each group.

80 Years + = +1.9%
Aged 75-79 = +5.3%
Aged 70-74 = +8%
Care Home Resident = +0.8%
Care Home Worker = +0.3%

If aiming for 100% uptake, Out of the 740,350, there's only 217,308 left in the top 4 priority groups.

To hit that - #Wales needs to give out 21,731 first jabs a day until the 15th Feb.

The previous 7 days, 22,970 a day have been given out. From Monday, 26,684, on average.

For the accounts that will no doubt ask me about 2nd doses. 1,635 have been given out now.

That's up from 1,212 yesterday - the highest rise since the start of the rollout.
