My 13 year old brother has been staying for a couple of days and I’ve made some observations. 1) teenage boys eat a lot, everything and anything. They will eat it. 2)Homeschooling is shit, they’re finding it very hard to concentrate and focus
_focus on any task, by no fault of their own. 3) the teachers are trying their hardest to make it engaging, but it’s very tough. 4) teenage boys are rude , one unmuted himself and said “miss you’re giving me a headache”, with no means of discipline it’s really hard to
Stop teenagers being cheeky! 5) they’re desperate for social interaction, between classes they hangout on zoom (like you would in a corridor) and try their hardest to chat, but it’s just not the same
6) Their entire life exists online , and it’s unreal the amount of jargon and stuff I don’t understand. IM ONLY 23?!
7) despite the hardship and challenging times they’re facing , they’re trying their best to laugh. Which is positive, but I don’t think they’re happy.
8) teachers are hero’s. It’s hard, teenage boys are difficult in person, but perhaps more so virtually. Parents have it tough too, it’s weird stepping on egg shells worried that a teacher may catch you in your jammies or telling toddler to use the potty !!
To conclude I guess, is that this is going to have profound impact upon our younger generations , and they really are doing their best. fuck the corona & fuck the tories xx
