New employees on Manager level get less salary compared to German Automakers but an attractive option package

After a first call applicants go through 4 interviews

"In the interview, they look to see if the applicant fits Tesla in terms of mindset. (...)"
He continued "The lady didn't ask me about academic achievements or degrees. She wanted to know why I actually wanted to join Tesla. For them, identification with the brand and the mission is incredibly important."
Only a small portion of employees that are laid-off in the German Autoindustry these days (around 60k) is for Tesla an attractive candidate

The mindset, attitude and personal mission is key to make it through the first interviews

That is valid for blue & white collar workers
Another candidate reported

"It was all very professional and incredibly fast (hiring process). Four days after I applied, I had the preliminary interview with the HR manager. Then the interviews continued at three to four day intervals."
He continued

"They weren't even remotely interested in my degree and grades. What was important was motivation and the last job."
All had to sign an NDA and did not disclose their names during the interview but details about their salary package

Because I don't find it a good thing to violate agreements and since they given their position they may have some problems with Tesla before they even started
