The first time I saw Kiddwaya on my tv screen was probably the second day or third day of BBN I can't remember exactly.

Let me include the fact that in my house we are not allowed to watch Bbnaija so we weren't allowed to watch other seasons but you see this lockdown season everyone of us in my house watched and it was kind of different. Now back to when I first saw THE MAN KIDDWAYA on my screen
The first time I set my eyes on him was when they were doing their face mask task and he wasn't doing anything but a fine babe was helping him out. My judgmental self thought hmm. This guy is lazy, a spoilt brat and all, then I didn't even know His name until my sister who had
started watching the show before I did said it's not going to be easy on him he's from a privileged background so he might not know how to do things like this. In my head I'm like even though he should at least do something for himself instead of sitting down doing nothing.
Little did I know that he wasn't even feeling fine. After I'd already judged him that just goes to show how human nature can be. I saw his name and went to google him and I discovered that he's the son of billionaire business tycoon Terry waya. again I thought to myself what
exactly is he looking for that his father cannot give him, I went ahead to check him on all social media accounts apart from twitter and I saw a video of him talking about Rape and other videos of him keeping fit. Hmm interesting. I kept watching him in the house, his interaction
with other housemates, he was so humble, then Saturday parties
kiddwaya will dance and make you laugh till you pee on yourself. I just kept on shouting this guy is a vibe, pure cruise. These are just things that drew me closer to Kidd, his personality, his words, his smile,

His confidence was on a ol nother level, his diary session I always was looked forward to it, no much talk, straight to the point guy. Fast forward to how THE MAN KIDDWAYA inspired me was I think fourth week when he was the Assistant HOH and they were given a wager task on
Rape and Gender based violence campaign or commercial (if I'm not mistaken) when they were through with the campaign and Big brother was asking them to talk about what they just did making it seem like they didn't try at all. Big brother also said the campaign was too short.
And at that point they were supposed to convince big brother about it and Kidd stood up, I think he was pissed and therefore gave a challenging statement to Big brother when bb said it was too short "but Big brother asked us for a campaign not a commercial" in my mind i was like
Wow, this guy's confidence level is something else. I grabbed something from there even though The man Kiddwaya was given a punishment of paying a debt he said what he said with his chest and I used that same tactics in school.
As a final Year student I was given a topic to address for my seminar in the presence of distinguished professors and lecturers and I remembered Kidd's words "The power is in my voice" so I made sure I gave my best while talking all through my seminar topic, I was done..
It was time for questions, I answered as many as I could, then a lecturer asked me a question that was off my topic and I couldn't think of any answer but I replied without disrespect. "Sir I have no idea because that Q is not based on my topic" I was scared with my answer becos
I was sure they'd expect as a student one must be versatile with everything related enough to one's topic but to my surprise a professor stood up and clapped and said that is the best reply I've heard in a while and the applause didn't stop till I went to my sit majestically.
What's the point of all this shalaye, when you think you're doing rubbish do it with confidence, and even if you fail know that you did not fail to try it and you try it out again. You're not a failure until you give up. THE MAN KIDDWAYA is confident in whatever no matter what.
I learnt confidence from THE MAN KIDDWAYA and you don't want to how shy I can be. And yeah my result was a distinction (A). Learn something from him today.
THE MAN KIDDWAYA never gives up
Never looks back. Always ready for whatever. That's who he is. Emulate him. He is a King in his kingdom.
