Follow your dreams. Six years ago, @George_Mann and I got on a plane to go to San Diego comic con for the first time. It was nerve-wracking and exciting at the same time.
When we first saw the pro queue waiting for their passes we could add overwhelming to that list. (1/4)
How could we make an impact on an industry with so many amazing creators? I have to admit I was a bag of nerves, finding it almost impossible to go up to editors. George literally had to push me to go up and introduce myself to the lovely @sarahgaydos. (2/4)
I was TOTALLY out of my comfort zone and my imposter syndrome was running wild, but I kept at it, even though that voice in my head kept saying 'you've left this too late', 'you'll never make it'. I worked on through, building relationships and putting myself out there. (3/4)
Today, I just did a tally and I have live comics projects with Marvel, DC, IDW, Dark Horse, Vault, Legendary, Rebellion, Titan and Disney. This isn't a brag. It's a reminder to keep going, that it's never too late and to believe in yourself. (4/4)
