Turns out two upcoming coroners inquests a week apart can be pretty anxiety provoking.... what I've learnt so far:
1) Get the notes again long beforehand. Its been reassuring to read the notes again and see that we did everything we should have.

2) Talk it through with a more experienced colleague, they'll inevitably have a story to share of their own experience
3) Speak to someone in a similar position if available, over coffee if feasible, its very cathartic for both

4) Share the experience with your StR - show the anxiety, frustration, anger - prepare them for when its their turn. It is ok to be wound up about it!
5) If it works for your circumstances, stay late to finish any work associated with the inquest so you don't bring it home.

5) Answer any questions raised by the coroner/family beforehand, or questions you would ask, in writing (even if you dont have to). It avoids getting frustrated and reassures you that the answers are there
