Weird seeing some of MilTwitter freak about Austin's stand-down. Of course most troops aren't extremists. But after Jan 6th, why not just make sure there aren't any future radicals in the ranks?

I mean, it's a numbers thing. Giant institution. All-volunteer force told from day 1 of basic they're different from civilians. 20 years of war, and frustrating war with nebulous ends at that. Of course there's gonna be a few radicals. Pretending otherwise ... I don't know. Odd.
