For the life of me I don't understand people who come on threads regarding safety in kink/BDSM and start commenting "well ACTUALLY" trying to get around safety protocols.

Risk awareness is incredibly important.
Acknowledging the risks in certain kink activities is important.
I've got kinks I enjoy that carry risk - kinks that can be dangerous. I'm not going to pretend they AREN'T risky - I'm going to keep myself educated on what the risks are and then ensure my husband and I (with his help, of course) are prepared to mitigate those risks.
Keeping yourself educated and aware of risks and safety protocols in kink is just part of being a responsible participant.
And sometimes, your fantasy may be too risky for reality. Some fantasies are best kept to fun erotic reads or acting/role-playing.

Just please have the kindness and respect for your partner(s) to stay educated on what risks are present & how to prepare for them ♡
