But Ottawa can't take over areas of provincial jurisdiction. They especially can't take over without the cooperation of the provinces in question.
Ottawa offered to do more through the Emergencies Act. The provinces said no. They should own this.

Unfortunately, too many in the media seem to want to push a narrative. The narrative says that the federal government is responsible for every ill in Canada.
Is this borne of malice, or ignorance? I can't say. It's just as damaging either way.

We have a constitutional distribution of powers between the federal government and the provinces. So many Canadians are done a disservice by having their lack of understanding amplified and even encouraged by people in so many corners. It is dangerous to Canada. 4/4 #cdnpoli
