Some fun #WNBA history numbers (regular season + Playoffs) (brief thread):

No two players have faced off more than Lindsay Whalen and Alana Beard, who played each other 63 times. Whalen had the upper hand with a 37-26 record.
More Whalen: she and Candice Dupree played each other 58 times, Lindsay having won 40 times and lost just 18. No one player has beaten one other player more.

Next is Whalen over Beard (37-26) tied with DeLisha Milton-Jones, who beat Katie Smith 37 times out of the 48 they met.
In terms of win percentage, well, Glory Johnson has struggled with the Lynx core (as has everyone). Whalen, Seimone Augustus, and Maya Moore have each won all 16 games they played against Glory. No one else has been perfect in more games against one player.
A more recent pairing that surprised me: Skylar Diggins-Smith and Dearica Hamby have faced off 12 times, and Skylar has been on the winning side all 12 times.
The most even matchups?

Sue Bird and DeLisha Milton-Jones, 2 of the top 3 in games played all-time, faced off 44 times, each winning 22 times each.

Tammy Sutton-Brown and Deanna Nolan were also perfectly even against one another in the 40 games they played (20 wins each).
Behind Whalen/Beard and Whalen/Dupree, the next two with the most matchups all-time are Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi. The two played each other 56 times, with Sue having won 31.

Tamika Catchings and Swin Cash also played 56 times, Catch having won 34.
That's all I have for now. ✌️
