So Rahdo's take on the recent Italian designer's racist remarks and fallout is not only disappointing, but potentially harmfully inaccurate.

The designer was not blitz-cancelled by his publisher without warning as implied. The facts, according to the publisher, follow:
They found the original apology insufficient and in absence of a better one *then* dropped *future potential collaboration* - keeping current contracts in place.

This is *public information* and was posted by the publisher when they announced their action.
By casting this as “cancel mob goes after the career of innocent designer” and CALLING PEOPLE BY NAME

He paints a harassment target on already embattled content creators - for any unstable rando incensed that their favourite board game celebrity got “bullied by the SJWs.”
Harmful: Endless comments praising Rahdo for “finally a reasonable take.” For “finally nailing cancel culture.”

Harmful: Yet another step backward in a discourse we just started making progress.

We choose how to spend our influence. And this just makes me ... tired.
And for the record (for those who listened to the podcast take):

I am not wearing a Black Lives Matter shirt while writing this. I don’t own a BLM shirt.

I get to live that shit instead.
