they could shoot 30 arrows in 10 seconds. The Comanches defeated the Spanish, Mexicans, other tribes & early Texas Rangers from gaining footholds of their lands (Texas and the Plains). They feasted mainly on buffalo to full their warrior spirit. Then along comes John Coffee Hays.
John also known as "Jack" took charge of the Texas Rangers who originally were just renegade misfits. He recruited better men and decided on new strategy to defend against Comanche ambushes. These were brutal times on the frontier. Adventurous homesteaders seeking land and
