We cannot forget the people who stepped up to be with children every day in so many different settings across this state. The people who made sure parents could work, families had food and diapers and now they are hanging on by a thread financially and emotionally.
They have done so much. We cannot call them essential when we need them and then forget them when we distribute the vaccine. We cannot pit one part of the education system against another. We must prioritize our early education and school age workforce now.
