truly hate the way the internet from what i've seen tends to treat Fucked Up fictional relationships as more interesting like it sincerely promotes the idea that a loving, mutually supportive, happy relationship is "boring" and not worth your time and i REALLY don't like that!

speaking from my own experience as a person who has been on the internet since i was about 11 here but it's disheartening to see genuinely fantastic relationships discarded in favor of poking at unhealthy ones! it feels like telling kids that wholesome love is something Lesser

i myself am guilty of spending much time dissecting Fucked Up ships (fuffy, herawell, i dont even go here but kalmoash, etc) but like. Man i hate seeing people act as if a relationship isn't worth anything if it isn't in some way So Messy And Flawed. it's a bad message to send!

and im not saying Dont enjoy these relationships i mean theyre Fun and Insane and i Love Them but it feels a bit sincerely detrimental to cast aside Loving Romances Built On Love and deem them "boring". some of them might be boring sure but they are not INHERENTLY boring by /

virtue of being People Being In Symbiotically Healthy Love. tl;dr i think people sometimes forget that the point of love is like... love. and it does a number (in a bad way) to impressionable kids figuring out what they view love as.
