Still open to answer Web3 questions for music ppl. It’s getting very real now.
Like in your interests to have a cursory understanding real real
Which I have to say, 7 years deep, is absolutely wonderful
To clarify in other terms, we’ve spent a decade kicking ourselves that musicians weren’t more savvy to the web2 heist, and now is absolutely the time to get your head around web3 and have a say in what you want to see. This is major.
Web3 is a bit of a Rorschach test rn - if you come into it wanting to see disposable memes and price fetishism that’s all you will see. Healthier to come into it with ideas of what you would rather build with a garden of new primitives, interactions and interdependent agreements
I have 1000 critiques, but 1001 ideas. No time to be squeamish when there is literally no other game in town rn.
