We know you've heard it before in the context of Covid-19 - but the importance of finding new and different ways to create connections can be even more important for folks who are grieving. On its own, grief can be an incredibly isolating and lonely experience.
Throw in a pandemic that's forcing us to physically stay apart and it becomes even more challenging.
- Try connecting virtually, on social media on through emails and/or text messages
- Go old-school and hand write letters or cards
- Phone a friend or family member (we know, it feels weird to actually TALK on the phone instead of scrolling through it!)
- Spend time outside with a friend or family member if you’re able to do so safety
Have you found some creative ways to stay connected? We'd love to hear them!
