Just waa share a small story for the youths..
As a track athlete.. growing up I’ve never made a Youth or Junior team.. never gotten a champs medal despite how much time me try..
Always wanted to represent my country in the colours, 2018 that big turn around happened, The rest

Left high school 2016 and 2 years into the senior section, I made the National Trials finals, came 4th and got the opportunity to represent in 3 senior level teams.. as you can see above.. I finished with 2 medals out the 3

Goes to show u should never give up.. keep pushing

Lane 1.. the race at made everything possible.. it’s extremely special to me because I wasn’t gonna go to the trials and my mother begged me to and I said okay let me finish my season cause it was going extremely bad and I was depressed

I was running really slow.. went to the trials and got a pb of 10.33 made the teams
The 3 teams were
Athletics World Cup in London
Cac games in Colombia
Nacac championship in Canada

Fast forward to Cac games.. this happened

Ran the 100m.. before this race I checked the startlist and my pb of 10.33 was the 2nd slowest in the heat.. I was wondering how I’m going to advance to the next round.. My friend told me to just run.. you got this

Ran a time of 10.09s +2.7 breeze.. I was SHOOKETH..

Made the semis.. and I ran a faster time this time it wasn’t wind aided
10.08s +0.5 wind..

I came 4th and made the finals..

Was very happy but was still in denial

Words couldn’t explain how I felt.. I represented my country.. that was my dream

I got a new personal best coming from a very terrible season until I got a big turn around..

GOD IS GOD

Never give up on anything that’s your passion
