1. “mostly from a relatively privileged minority”
2. “Mr. Modi’s record on human rights is undeniably shabby, but if you’re looking for abuses, the farmer protests (at least so far) are not the best place to find them” https://twitter.com/dhume/status/1357407687777091584

Response: Which privileged minority us Dhume referring to? Sikhs? https://www.google.co.in/amp/s/caravanmagazine.in/amp/politics/gujarats-sikhs-call-out-modis-pro-sikh-posturing-cite-his-past-actions-in-kutch
Sikhs- who Modi has hurt in the past, Sikhs, who Modi’s friends and ecosystem brands as terrorists every single day?
Or is it Dalits? https://m.thewire.in/article/caste/punjab-landless-dalit-farmers-protest

Farmer protests have no human rights abuse? Internet suspension, denial of water and toilets, water canons, tear gas, baton charge, police complaints under draconian laws, NIA notices, over 100 farmers detained, journalists not allowed access. Not bad enough for @dhume ?
The truth is that it is the defence of these laws which is coming from an extremely privileged minority- the rich and the powerful.
