quite ignorantly (or perhaps on purpose), #TheWhiteWalker has chosen to stand for nothing. rather, Ranger Sad Cop Man straddles the line -- or edge of a coin -- and says, "well hey, let's Take A Look At Both Sides"
after 4 years with a racist, egotistical president, who claimed there were "good people on both sides of the aisle," creating a show that Specifically Sits On the Edge is a Bad Look, my dude #TheWhiteWalker
creating this show *now* (well, in general) is shortsighted, it's arguably reductive, and again, it stands for nothing by choosing to fall for both sides. #TheWhiteWalker
they're carefully toeing the line for the repub demographic -- ffs, they advertized on F O X N E W S -- and for what? *that's* who you want on your side? rancid nutwork, are you *joking* #TheWhiteWalker
like, ffs, #TheWhiteWalker is a centrist sad cop man, and the creators wanna ~keep it vague as to what his real views are -- bc having a cop who fights against injustice and says as much would be.... divisive, i guess.
HOWEVER, just bc #TheWhiteWalker is [hiss] a coded liberal, viewers DO get to know that his queer bro is a conservative -- you know what they say, can't beat 'em, join 'em. make the gay bro more palpable for the conservative propaganda imbibers.

okay so what's my f-ing point, right? i mean, listen, #TheWhiteWalker is the same soup, just reheated. this show isn't bringing anything new to the table, it's the same exhausted storyline of a white man who ~learns to be better bc of his minority friends
except he doesn't actually learn does he? and the story is always about *the white dude learning*, instead of the story being *from the minorities' pov* and how they've had to navigate a world that refuses to acknowledge them and actively pushes them down. #TheWhiteWalker
anyway, so #TheWhiteWalker is an exhausted narrative that nobody really wants and nobody f-ing *needs* -- except maybe for those white savior-complex people so they feel better about themselves.
