Worryingly I see certain people spreading misinformation about the Swedish schools & using it to argue for reopening of schools. FACTS
1. They didn’t test anyone under 16 until after schools were closed for summer. Over 16s are distance learning since March & mostly remain so.

2. Also they aren’t all open. Some have had to close because of outbreaks and municipalities were able to decide for themselves. 5. There is no contact tracing in schools. Therefore there is no valid data. Rates have gone down when schools have closed, and shot way up when they’re open. And the corona commission that spent 8 months reviewing the Swedish response concluded that the high rate of deaths in ..

If you see people with vested interests spreading this disinformation you have to ask why.

By all means have a discussion about safety in schools but base it on facts. Maybe look to Norway or Finland. Although the teacher/pupil ratio is lower for comparison. Norway 1/12 Finland 1/13 Ireland 1/26
