the overly-aggressive "im not explaining shit, just google it" mentality some people on here have is so weird, like I dont think asking someone to elaborate *in a polite manner* is an unreasonable proposition and it sure isnt "demanding free intellectual labor" or whatever

its especially weird when it keeps cropping up under posts about social movements and political debates

like, clearly youre trying to get a message out but when people ask for further info you just dismiss them? okay seems like a winning strategy for sure

tho i suppose it is kinda tricky because i also dont think you owe every single rando online a full presentation or even a conversation at all

but i think if youre gonna bother engaging, and if the person is cordial, why not just... inform them?
