NB, that there are MANY jobs like this in "academia" -- policy wonkery that treats the public with complete contempt. £Millions are paid by the public to support "academics" who are in fact little more than political activists and PR performances.
One thing is clear... Though millions wait to find out if their jobs are safe, the green blob has no shortage of cash, and is using it to further their benefactors' interests by taking advantage of the chaos.
