Jesus: “You make broad your garments to be seen of men.”

Them: “Wow, broadbrush much? Are you saying ALL of us are bad, or just the big names?”

Jesus: “You love to sit in upper rooms and in chief seats at church, separate from regular people.”

Them: “MAYBE we just like to respect the Man of God! He’s done a lot for us! You’re just a rebel who doesn’t like authority!”

Jesus: “You add all kinds of rules to people’s lives, burdens, but you don’t lift any of their burdens.”

Them: “Some of us don’t mind biblical standards and hard preaching. You just couldn’t measure up, could you? You just love the world!”

Jesus: “You devour widows houses. You take people for all they’re worth. You tithe as religious as anyone, but you ignore the weightier issues that matter, like justice for victims, mercy on others, faith. You strain at gnats and swallow camels. You’re blind.”

Them: “I’m not gonna listen to someone who hangs out with drunks and prostitutes. Live a separated life that shows you’re saved and then talk.”

Jesus: “You sure appear beautiful outwardly, but it’s like a grave. Inside is a rotting corpse. You’ll get the greater damnation.” /End
