KINTSUGI THREAD
Kintsugi is the Japanese philosophy of repairing broken pottery and ceramics instead of throwing them out.
They use liquid gold to put the broken pieces back together.

This beautiful philosophy should be applied to all of our lives.
We are all broken and have physical, mental, emotional and spiritual scars to prove it.
Nobody comes out of this Matrix unscathed.
But it’s how we choose to see these scars, that matter. 2/
Speaking for myself, I have literal scars from trying to keep myself and my unborn children alive during very dangerous & difficult pregnancies.
I have scars from a lifetime of hurts and abuses, and I AM no exception; we all have them. 3/
I use my scars as a way to relate to others who are suffering and to let them know they aren’t alone.
My scars have also taught me so damn much and made me the badass motherfucker that I AM.
My scars give me depth.
I AM grateful for my scars. 4/
Your scars are a part of your story, which make you the unique and beautiful soul that you are.
This is where self love comes in.
Remember that they are a part of your story & give you strength & character, but they do not define you.
YOU DEFINE THEM. đź•Šđź’š
