Referees vs Liverpool {A thread}
1. Brighton 1-1 Liverpool

Robertson is clearing the ball away from danger in the final minutes, Welbeck challenges Robertson who is already swinging for the ball. He clips Welbeck's foot ever so slightly and is penalised. Brighton score the penalty costing us vital points.
2. Spurs 1-3 Liverpool

A beautiful Mohamed Salah goal is ruled out because of a handball a lot further down the line from where the go was scored. Dier is handling Firmino causing him to touch the ball while fighting off Dier. Not to mention Dier touches the ball first.
3. Liverpool 2-1 West Ham

Jota's first winner vs West Ham disallowed for a 'foul' on Fabianski, when he jumps on Mané's leg. Jota taps it in to an open net and it's disallowed. I'm sure Jota prefers his other winner though. 😉
4. Southampton 1-0 Liverpool

A clear handball when Southampton are dominating the game. We were on poor form and this could've really lifted that in a very important time in the season.
5. Everton 2-2 Liverpool

Pickford tearing van Dijk's ACL but it's ok because he was offside, right?
6. Everton 2-2 Liverpool

Jordan Henderson's winner ruled out because of this being 'offside' against Sadio Mané. He is clearly in line with every defender, but it's Liverpool so it's offside.
7. Liverpool 2-1 Sheffield Utd

This given as a penalty when it was successfully won outside the box, Sheffield Utd take the lead from it. Jota called to score the winner again. Oh how we miss you Diogo.
8. Liverpool 0-0 Manchester Utd

Referee blows the whistle 6 seconds early when Sadio Mané is through on goal and would've at least got a shot off. Nothing to do with VAR, just poor, or bias refereeing.
9. Manchester City 1-1 Liverpool

This given as a handball against Joe Gomez. His arm was in a natural position whilst running. Apparently you have to run without your arms from now on.
10. Brighton 1-1 Liverpool

This given offside against Mohamed Salah, denying us doubling our lead. This goal would've prevented the Welbeck controversy. But no, referees in this league are awful.
11. Newcastle 0-0 Liverpool

Darlow clearly grabs Mané's leg, preventing him from scoring the eventual winner. But because Mané doesn't roll around like he's been shot it isn't even looked at.
12. Kyle Walker-Peters clatters into Sadio Mané, but no foul is given because a team that is smaller than Liverpool is beating them.
13. Liverpool 2-0 Manchester Utd

Firmino's beautiful goal ruled out by VAR because of a 'foul' on De Gea by Virgil van Dijk. van Dijk heads the ball before De Gea has a grasp on it, but VAR says differently.
14. Real Madrid 3-1 Liverpool

Before VAR, in a Champions League Final. Ramos elbows Karius in the face, causing him to be concussed, helping Madrid and Bale with the 3rd goal. Not to mention if the foul was spotted, Ramos would've been sent off.
15. Real Madrid 3-1 Liverpool

If Ramos wanted another chance to be sent off, but didn't get sent off, he got it. Dislocating Salah's shoulder right infront of the referee, as he tugs him down to the floor. Our best player that season coincidentally off injured.
16. Aston Villa 1-2 Liverpool

Firmino clearly onside. Referee says no. Forcing a late equaliser and a late winner to see off Villa.
17. Liverpool 2-0 Watford

This given offside vs Mané when he is clearly onside. Who knows what he was actually given offside for. Because his leg isn't.
18. Manchester Utd 1-1 Liverpool

Lindelof fouls Origi to start Utd's attacking move, which gets them the goal.
19. Barcelona 3-0 Liverpool

Messi moves the ball into a comfortable position for him to try the shot, infront of where he was fouled, and in a better angle.
20. Sevilla 3-1 Liverpool

Two clear handballs in the defending half in the Europa League Final, neither given, there was a third shout but the arm was by the side so I didn't include.
21: Liverpool 4-0 Barcelona

Fabinho puts in a great challenge on Luis Suarez and is booked for it.
22: Liverpool 4-0 Barcelona

Luis Suarez time wastes while Fabinho is trying to rush him to take the corner. Fabinho gets a stern telling off from the referee and Suarez gets away with a bookable offence.
