Being detained: losing my autonomy.
Overmedicated to ‘manage risk’ because of poorly resourced services unable to offer treatment needed. Putting on stones of weight & being shamed for it. Sure I didn’t follow leaflet guidelines on healthy eating

4 Prolonged times in psychiatric hospitals warrants a thread of its own. Losing all sense of self. And then the unspoken, subtle judgements & assumptions that leave you feeling othered & less than. This thread doesn’t capture it but we need a whole lot more than it’s #TimeToTalk
