A thread on why Mohamed Salah is the greatest Premier league winger ever (likes & rts highly appreciated) :
Mohamed Salah was bought from Roma for 34 million pounds. Salah In his first season broke the most goals scored in a single 38 game PL season (32) as a winger (1 pen scored) whilst playing with a midfield consisting of Wijnaldum, Milner and Henderson. He won the PL golden boot.
Mo had a staggering 60 G+A in 52 games (58GC were in PL+CL) in 17/18 for the reds, taking Liverpool to the CL final. His iconic display in the semi-final vs Roma remains the most G+A any one has ever had in a single CL semi-final leg (3 G+A). Not even Messi or Ronaldo have more.
Mohamed Salah’s 17/18 PL season was one of the most prolific seasons in the competitions history. Besides Suarez, not a single player in the league’s history has a better minutes per G/A, averaging a GC every 69.5 minutes only bettered by Suarez (GC every 68.9 minutes).
Despite after suffering a injury in the CL final in 2018 , Salah played at the World Cup with discomfort being only 70 percent fit. Mo still managed to score twice in a ‘poor’ Egypt side. Many believe that due to his injury he was neglected of winning the Ballon d’or.
Having doubters he could maintain his world class form, Mo ended the PL season as top scorer with 30 G+A in 18/19 - winning BACK to BACK golden boots. Mo ended the season with 39 G+A and played a vital part in Liverpool’s title charge, falling just one point off the champions.
Despite missing out on the PL trophy in 18/19, LFC and Salah went on to win the CL. Again, Mo played a huge part. His goal vs Napoli (the only one in the game) saw Liverpool progress through the group stages. Salah also scored in the CL final vs spurs and helped LFC claim #6.

Many consider the 19/20 season to be Salah’s worse season in a LFC shirt despite winning 3 trophies + having the most G+A in the PL. To put this into perspective, Mo’s worse season (36GC) is almost as prolific than Robben’s best season (39GC). Robben played in the Bundesliga.

The 20/21 season is present and Salah currently has 26 G+A in 30 appearances in all competitions. Mo is leading the golden boot race with 15 goals. Salah has 18 PL G+A in 1652 minutes, averaging a GC every 91.7 minutes. Insane numbers for a 4 season wonder if you ask me.
Since Salah joined the PL in 2017, no player in the league has had more G+A than him. The closest to Salah is Sterling, with 24 G+A less. This definitely establishes that Mo has been the best & most consistent attacker in the PL over the past 4 years without a shadow of doubt.

The numbers just show how prolific & deadly Mo has been. In comparison to other ‘world class’ wingers, Salah has more goals than both Hazard and Ronaldo despite playing 55 games less than Ronaldo and 104 games less than Hazard. Imagine the stats when he retires.
