1) Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta was founded in 1886, at first with only 13 members in the congregation. Today, it has a congregation of over 6,000.
2) This was the church where a young Martin Luther King Jr. was raised, eventually becoming a co-pastor of in 1960, working alongside of his father, Daddy King.
3) This brought international attention to this Atlanta church, where King served as co-pastor until his murder in 1968. It is within these hallowed halls that Dr. King's funeral was held.
4) Today, while still being an active church, Ebenezer also is part of the @MLKJrNHPNPS

Tours of buildings are not available at this time due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, however you can still walk the grounds and tour the outdoor exhibit celebrating 40 years of the park.
