THISSSSS THIS IS WHAT I USED TO LOOK FOR SRSLY make ur resume easy to search by putting the right keywords in pls https://twitter.com/slizagna/status/1356652223695003648
also, please- PROOFREAD. it can be a deciding factor!!! (also this is a good thread!!!)
other resume writing tips i learned as a recruiter- be consistent in how you lay out your previous experience. fresh grads have a tough time of this but it’s really about the phrasing and the keywords.
also, we did have a wiggle room in terms of experience. wbw, if your resume ticks off at least a third of my checklist then i’ll put u in my to call list.
make sure your dates are correct, at least a month and a year would be nice. any gaps in experience can either get your resume tossed or considered depending how u put it in there
also if u are unsure if your resume is up to par, consult job hunting sites! they do show samples and stuff. or if your school has one, check with the counselors (specifically locally).
ps: i did rpo for a time but didn’t last cos honestly? helping someone find a job is great until u realize the company they’re applying for is shit is. frustrating. anyway yeah. GOOD LUCK!
