I sincerely hope that the Biden admin is focused on ending all of Yemen's war and not just the Saudi war.
Getting Saudi Arabia to end its war in Yemen is an important step, but on its own does little to end Yemen's civil war.
My worry - which I hope is overblown - is that the Biden admin helps find a face-saving exit for Saudi Arabia from Yemen, but then washes its hands of the messy domestic fighting.
That would be a mistake with serious and long-reaching consequences. Timothy Lenderking has a good reputation, and he needs all the help he can get in what will be an incredibly difficult task.
