Most of us know Himachal produces some of the best apples in India.
If anytime we go out to buy apples and it's written Himachal apples on the box, we buy it.
Do we know large quantity of apples coming out of Himachal is handled by "Adani Group"

Yes Adani group who is living rent free in minds of a lobby.
They sell these apples under the brand name "Farm-pik".
They have built world class infrastructure to take the apples from the farmer, store them and transport them across the globe.

They are in this business for a long time. So according to some people Adani should have a monopoly in apple business , only Farm pik apples should be there in the market
But it's not , you must have seen different kind of apples in the same shop being sold at a different price

One is from farm pik and other produce is from the local seller. Now it depends on the consumer which one to buy.
Farm pik not only deals in apples but also in vegetables, and they are in this business for a long time now.

So does it mean the local sellers who sell fruits and vegetables are no longer in business. Hell no! They have larger market share in the business because they sell at less price.
Adani doesn't even compete with them because their Audience is different.

They sell the apples like a brand, they store them efficiently and help the farmers in farming by teaching them advance techniques.
They focus on the upper middle class.
private player and local sellers can co exist !!.
