its not that there aren't lots of important critiques of humanitarianism of course, including its relationship to racism and imperialism, but i think its important to be able to articulate them without accusing genocide survivors of being "local collaborators"
its valuable to point out that good things can also be bad, but if you don't articulate it in a way that captures the interplay of good and bad I think you lose something historiographically crucial
