Terrible news today, investigative journalist and Hezbollah critic #LokmanSlim was murdered in Lebanon as he started to uncover the truth behind the Beirut Blast #LokmanSlim. Scary revelations in his interview last month (Arabic)

In August 2013, Syria finally signed the chemical weapons convention at the pressure of President Obama. A month later, in November 2013, the large shipment of ammonium nitrate (that exploded in August 2020) arrived to Beirut’s port (controlled by no other than Hezbollah)

In the years to follow, Beirut port will see a significant spike of ammonium nitrate shipments (two months worth of shipment would equate a whole year in the earlier years - pre Syria signing the convention)

#LokmanSlim points the finger to Hezbollah, the Syrian Regime and Moscow. Might the FBI and other international bodies who already went to investigate know of this already but decide it’s not worth causing international tensions with Russia?

I can expect that from the Trump administration. But what about Macron? What about Biden now? This is a massive murder and it’s dead obvious who are the culprit. Does exposing Hezbollah and Moscow pose a risk on causing a major regional conflict?

Once again, the beautiful and poor people people of Lebanon are to pay the price. As history has told us, no one really cares, and truth might never be revealed. The people of Lebanon (both inside and outside) must not give up. Might take time but the old guard is dying.
