I noticed tweets yesterday from @BigManBakar & @yonkersfpl with some stats on Bruno with & without Pogba, so I wanted to look a little further into it myself.

Samples sizes aren't huge, but we can see correlation developing.

Without Pogba, Bruno's mins p/chances created, shots & shots in the box are all stronger. These are reflected by his goals & assists.

In GW8-10 without Pogba, Bruno is more advanced & more active, especially on the left & centrally/towards the box.

Playing further up & more active allows him more influence on matches. Slightly deeper means less influence.

It's no surprise then to see Bruno's returns are far greater in GW8-10.

Without Pogba, Bruno scored 27 more points, from 4 goals & 2 assists v 0 goals & 1 assist with Pogba.

Bruno's stats are better in every category bar one.

Side by side comparisons clearly show a correlation developing between Bruno's improved scores without v with Pogba.

He excels in nearly every category, with the exception of mins p/Big Chance Created & Big Chance.

The influence that Bruno has without Pogba playing is clear to see and he's a bonus magnet without Pogba playing. He's returned max bonus in 63% of matches without Pogba (any bonus in 75%) v 21% when Pogba plays.

The samples may be small, but the data is starting to mount up. Bruno is a better FPL asset without Pogba.

If Pogba features more & more in the 2nd half of the season, what becomes of Bruno?
