Kelvin Mackenzie's 'principles' on matters of free speech & whether people should face sanctions for expressing their political views seem to change according to some curious logic that perhaps you good people could all help me to decipher. It seems to me to be a biblical mystery
Forgive us Father, for we have a deep-seated sense of majoritarian persecution that we are a bit touchy about.
And let's be very clear, Reverend Jarel Robinson Brown said absolutely nothing that was wrong, even if his timing was iffy: Captain Tom WAS a "kind & generous soul", & he HAS been exploited by our cultish White Nationalist Govt.
Where did our culture of brave Free Speech go now?

I know it's reduced by over-use, but really, this is one of those moments when Pastor Niemoller's poem looms large. When mouthy former Editors of The Sun who have a (cough) 'intriguing' relationship with black people start pile-ons onto Priests, it is long past time to speak up.
Very glad to see other Priests speaking up on behalf of Reverend. This is what moral courage looks like. I'm not a religious person, but I recognise what Faith can bring, & I applaud it. Speaking up, esp against the running dogs & baying mobs of supremacy, is deeply courageous.
This from a member of the Anglican Church. Well said, Sir.
Strange how it's the Black guy Mackenzie targets? What's with that? Can anybody explain??? https://twitter.com/FrStephenB/status/1356953104177111040?s=20
