Lots of media spin on the #carbonTax on meat and dairy

This short video explains the origins of that policy.
As I explain in the video, the climate assembly were not fools. They did not support punitive taxation. They were explicitly against it. And they did not support government intervention to control our diets. Yet the blob organisations that surround the Assembly have spun it.

By conflating "taxes and incentives", the convenors of the #ClimateAssembly elicited the apparent support for taxes, despite the Assembly frequently expressing their disagreement.
