A + B get set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. They hit it off wonderfully, go for a few more... And then they don't talk to each other for a bit. No big deal. But in that time both decide to see other people... Some months later, they see each other again out of the blue!
They run into each other at a coffee shop downtown! They catch up, and they end up staying until the sun goes down, and a young barista has to awkwardly ask them to leave. They're both wildly embarrassed, leave a huge tip, and walk each other out.
By the time they get to the corner where A parked (B is parked only another half a block away), they've already scheduled to meet at the coffee shop again in a couple weeks. They wave goodbye, and both head home... Where they proceed to text each other for another few hours.
The next date goes much like the first, but this time they tell the girl at the counter they'll keep a better eye on the clock. (they don't)
After a few more dates over the next couple of months, the topic comes up of what they're doing downtown, since they both live across town

How do you tell the person you're not-so-subtly kinda-sorta seeing on a semi-regular basis that you're five months pregnant?

B looks absolutely shell shocked. And then slowly, they start laughing.

They let go of B's hands, and they start to get up to leave, tears in their eyes, thinking B is laughing at them.
But B stops laughing and reaches for their arm, standing up to be beside them. They pull them in close and kiss their tear-streaked face. Just once.

A stops. Everyone in the coffee shop is staring. A wants to pull away, storm off, be angry... But they instead just melt into the moment and let B put their arms around them. After a minute, and a quiet *ahem* from the person waiting to be served at the counter, the moment ends.
A looks at B and they're crying, too. Why...
B grabs their jacket and leads A outside, swiftly dropping a $20 in the tip jar as they pass. Dumbfounded, A trails behind as B leads them to a bench at the edge of a nearby park.

B drops their jacket on the bench, let's go of A's hand, and lifts their sweater to show a small, round tum.
They explain that they're also, funnily enough, about 5 months along - give or take a week.

A looks B up and down, dropping their bag unceremoniously beside the bench rather than on it, and move in closer. They put a hand on their own small baby bump, hidden under a few layers of t-shirt and flannel, and B takes a step towards them.
They catch each other's eye, and B is already grinning. A goes red as ever and pulls them in closer. They kiss again, arms around each other immediately, belly to belly.
