#HK In a 36-page document titled “National Security: Specific Measures for Schools”, #HK teachers are told not to treat #NationalSecurity as a controversial issue in discussions

It added: “No activity should be exploited for political propaganda or making a political statement”
#UPDATE New guidelines on #NationalSecurityLaw also told #HK schools to ensure books including library collections, leaflets, as well as materials displayed in classrooms & bulletin boards “does not involve contents that endanger national security”
#LATEST Under the latest guidelines on #NationalSecurityLaw, the Edu Bureau has also laid out lesson frameworks on teaching national security

Pupils in primary school should learn about the national symbols and “people who protect us”, including the #HK police and the PLA

#HK Schools are also suggested to use teaching materials provided by the govt, including this video which reiterated that the #NSL “only punishes an extremely small minority of criminals” and that freedom of speech and procession are “not being affected”
