People can have their personal opinions and thats fine but an annoying trend of Twitter (particularly blue ticks) is the mangling of personal opinion into some kind of worthwhile analysis. https://twitter.com/brokenbottleboy/status/1356695269488943105
This idea that Labour is abandoning its core vote is a weird one. The idea that Labour is dead popular with urban metro left liberal types, which doesn't really bare out any sort of scrutiny.
Corbyn in his Islington North seat lost 5483 votes between 2017 and 2019. James Frith in Bury North lost 4128 votes.
Corbyn won by 26188, Frith lost by just 105. So you can see why personal opinions aside Labour will try and focus on certain voters over people like me and you.

Clive Lewis has been in the Guardian. So what happened to Clive in 2019. He lost 3545 votes and still won by 12760
David Crausby in Bolton North East lost 3489 votes and lost by just 378 votes.

The fine margin losses are where the Tories are fighting for every vote. They put no effort (and neither do any of the other parties) into taking votes of people like Corbyn and Clive Lewis. They wanted and will want Crausby's and Frith's votes. Thats where the battle is.
