Report states 'AUT did not sufficiently investigate Dr C's (Paterson) complaint' 'A feature was also the need to protect Dr B's (Abbott) reputation and not to start an investigation which in itself might damage Dr B's (Abbott) reputation' (2/7)
Report states - '...the failure to take formal action. Even with the information known, the response by @AUTuni was muted and Dr B (Abbott) did not even receive a disciplinary warning'. (3/7)
My complaint went to the @AUTuni VC Derek McCormack - there was no middle management responsible - it was his decision, it was his failure, it was his incompetence. The failure to take formal action sits firmly with VC Derek McCormack. (4/7)
@AUTuni VC McCormack was the one who made the active decision to protect his mate and ignore my complaint, regardless of the evidence I presented. I should not have had to go to the media for help. (5/7)
@AUTuni VC McCormack fails in his apology to even recognise that the report was also a review into sexual harassment. (6/7)
I am so grateful for the support of @VC_ANU and @Alisonmau. @AUTuni, as long as you have a Vice-Chancellor that doesn't even know how to say sexual harassment (except to say it doesn't exist) - nothing will change. (7/7)
